"Created" and started up in 1963 by Spartaco Vannoni (1922-1980), the Hotel Raphael is a real museum of art: paintings, litographs, sculptures, antiquarian artefacts and a valuable collection of Picasso ceramics and Mayan art may be seen throughout the lobby.

The third floor of the Hotel meets the brilliance of Richard Meier, one of the most appreciated architects in the world. All rooms are made of oak and elegantly furnished, equipped with air-conditioning, BOSE Digital Sound System, CD and DVD, Sky Entertainment TV, free ADSL and WIFI on request. All the bathrooms, with a private double shower each, are made of fine Carrara statuary marble.
